Globe Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini
versus
Smart Bro Rocket 4G broadband stick
Way back in high school, it was the end of the 1st Generation cellular technology like the bulky Smart Billcrusher phones. Then, Second generation 2G cellular technology innovates the wireless phone system. Second Generation technology launches its WAP features, the GPRS & the EDGE. Then Highspeed 3G (UMTS and CDMA2000) cellular technology was then introduced. It dominates the country for almost five years. Fourth Generation 4G technology is on its way in the country. Let see what it got.
Last month, Globe announced the availability of the first USB modem designed to connect to HSPA+ 4G networks. And they call it Tattoo Tonino Lamborghini, actually a Huawei E372.
Like many other sticks manufactured by Huawei, this one has a USB plug, a slot for a SIM, and a slot that supports microSD memory cards. Unfortunately, the service is initially available for postpaid users.
Recently, SMART Communications, Inc. launches its new broadband called Smart Bro Rocket, a mobile broadband prepaid service runs on HSPA+( Evolved High-Speed Packet Access) Network.
Rocket Dongle 4G HSPA+ is a fast broadband solution for users.
- Ultrafast and fast
- Everywhere Connect
- Handy
- 4G HSPA+ Network
- Php 3,995 (as of August 8 2011 be available)
- Up to 12Mbps Major areas in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao
- Nice Graphic User Interface
This could be the beginning of the 4th Generation Era. Hmmmm... High Speed internet of 10Mbps? This could be great. I'm excited to try my proxies. See ya soon here in Cebu.
Hotspotshield, Expatshield, RealVPN, ProXPN, ArethUSA, RaptorVPN, Xtream, SoftPhoneVPN
On my Toshiba laptop, I used UltraSurf 10.16 w/ proxy 10.102.61.46/8080 & Expatshield for back-up.
On my galaxy tab, I used ProXPN. Two peso lang ang e-maintain sa Smart, sa Globe pwede zero.
Don't waste your money on renting Virtual Private Servers. "Sayang lang pera mo, sa pagkain sana, nabusog pa ako".
